Best Styles of Leadership


The ability to have a team of "starting the job done" in order to "overcome all the goals and expectations with flying colors," requires an understanding of the difference between what it means to rule for a group of people and lead a group of people. For many people who are leaders, there are almost as many ways to lead. different leadership styles can be effective for the particular challenges faced and the specific needs of those involved. Instead of choosing a style of leadership that effective leaders can move between styles, choose the one that is needed today.

Transactional leadership


One of the most common style of leadership, transaction management, described the situation where there is a "transaction", which is understanding, members agree to abide by their leaders in exchange for financial benefits. Leadership rewarded accordingly and "punishment" for substandard work.

This leadership style may sound a little harsh, but there are also benefits, especially the fact that the leaders of the transaction to clarify the role of early so really there is no confusion, and when the project begins.

Charismatic Leader

Democratic / participative leadership

The main benefit to this leadership style is a member of the group tended to have higher job satisfaction because their opinions have value, and they tend to work hard and stay. Although the process of decision making in this scenario may be slower, the results are usually very large.

On the other hand, for their projects where speed and efficiency are very important, because in a crisis, time can sometimes be wasted on making sure all voices are heard team members.

laissez-faire leadership


Laissez-faire is French for "leave it," and this leadership style describes the situation where team members are allowed to work alone. team leader for the freedom to do their work and establish milestones and deadlines of their own. They will, if necessary, lend advice and resources, but if you still are not related.

Although this style, compared to others, it can be a little loosey-wild again, probably very effective leadership style provides leadership and providing feedback on performance often. This style works well with members of experienced, skilled and self-start and often leads to a very high level of job satisfaction and increased productivity. On the side, members of the group should not be very good at managing your time, or if they do not have a particular skill that requires the project, the work will be negatively affected.

People-oriented leadership / Relations-Oriented


people-oriented leader focuses on people: the organization, support and development team members. This leadership style gave birth to good teamwork and creative collaboration. team members are treated equally by the leaders and this causes the member to be happier and more productive. One negative of this leadership style is often the leader endanger the personal development of team members before the project at hand.

Managers can allow leaders to actually appear in their group.


Leaders can often start out as a member of the development team of talented and special advantages which may be recognized as necessary at the time. The best managers are lightweight and always allow different leaders emerge and encourage their team members to succeed.

Leadership style changes


Registered leadership style, there is nothing better than the other; they all had a good time and the specific situation in which they would be the most effective form of leadership. Great leaders are those who choose their leadership style as a chef's knife decisions based on what is needed at that time, and what is the best tool for the job.
